I asked at my first class with cooper about the collar. I told the trainer I was concerned about hurting him by jerking. She told me to keep moving the collar closer to under his jaw. The collar gets tangled in his hair easily so I am always watching for it to be to tight so I am always moving it. Plus I hardly have to tug on it for Cooper to get the hint. However theres 2 other Yorkies in the class , both younger and smaller then Cooper and I dont believe there owners are aware of the danger.One of them was stuborn and just sat when she tried to make him walk with her so she kinda just slid him along using the leash.It kinda worried me. |
