It seems yorkies have sensitive systems and in general it is a good idea to slowly change their food over.
I would think that the reaction would be more diarrhea, however, not sure about throwing up.
Has your yorkie been taken to the vet? Been given any blood tests?
There can be many reasons for your dog to be vomitting and perhaps you should see your vet.
