We managed to squeeze our run in just before it bucketed down! Dixie was quite slow. Except when I did a front cross (that's when you do some fancy footwork in front of your dog to get to the other side of the dog) and she was all of a sudden like "zoooooom" because she knew exactly what I wanted. (I've been practising the front cross to death! LOL
She got 5 faults for refusing on the chute. It was totally handler error! I didn't check she was committed to the chute before I ran on.
We did the run in a little over 80 seconds. (most other dogs were doing it in around 38 seconds!! LULZ)
But they're now officially measured. Dixie's 25.5cm and Dougal's 27.5cm. Dougal looks so much bigger than Dixie but it just goes to show he's actually 80% fluff! |
