I'm sure Vicki will get on to update and give all the details as soon as she gets a chance. She should be arriving home in the next 10 minutes or so. I know they did a full blood panel which all came back normal and they did do a flouroscopy with NO collapsing trachea. They said lungs, trachea, and esophagus looked clear from what they could see. He was having bad wheezing/coughing spells all day today so the vets there all got to see them themselves finally. His vets have diagnosed him with tracheitis and/or esophagitis (inflammation of the trachea and esophagus). It could be because of gastroesophageal reflux. They have him on three different meds and Vicki is to keep him completely calm for the next week. They said he should start to get better pretty quickly on these meds. If he's not doing any better by Monday she'll have to bring him back to put a scope down his esophagus because worst case scenario he could have something lodged in there...or possibly something going on with his stomach. So...good news for today...hopefully these meds will help and Bleu Boy will be all back to normal!
It was great seeing Vicki and her neice today, and spending time with Cynthia (crb) and Gayla (Layla's Mom). And of course seeing Bleu Boy and Princess Jill!
