Slept through the quake, but did barely feel the aftershock.
We lived in E'ville for about 5 years. Were you there in 1990 (I think) when Dr Browning predicted the BIG one for our fault line? When the city actually had emergecy centers assigned for the different areas in the city and most people stayed home from work and school? You couldn't buy aluminum strapping for the water heater, batteries, flashlights, or bottled water for a couple of weeks before the date!!
........... which came and went...........
