With my boys coat on show days I dont use a conditioner but after a few minutes of him walking in the ring I notice the ends look stringy. After exploring literally everything my breeder told me it was just his puppy coat (different texture than his adult silk coat) that was causing it. Now that his puppy coat is almost completely grown out and I am beginning to trim the ends it seems to be making a huge difference.

Maybe this same thing is happening to her?

Ps. For itchy skin I would increase her fatty acid intake. Fish oil or a product called K9 Show Stopper work wonders on the skin and coat.

Good luck with your baby's coat!
Thank you so much for your advice!! I will definitely try the fish oil/K9 show stopper. Where do you get the last one??
