I give Gus a lion cut in the summer. He hates baths, hates to be groomed, loves to run (and roll) around outside and matts easily. We both love the cut.
I cut it when it gets warm and then let it grow out. So throughout the year he has the lion cut, a fluffy puppy cut and a longer coat for winter. It's great.
