hi,

Pet Industry is a great market!
I'm in the Pet Industry myself!
As a fellow? pet industry business owner,
I would like to give some advices for you! =)

1. Do you have a small business experience?

If you don't, please keep in mind that 1 out of 10 small businesses fail in first 5 years and from the remaining, 1 out of 10 fail in next 5 years. -Entreprenuer.com-

2. Market Research [homework]

Do market research on your competitors before you open your pet grooming business. Ask why would customers choose you over your competitor?
Do you know your competitors? If you don't know any of your competitors, most likely the customers won't ever know that your business have existed.

3. Marketing Strategy.

Often times businesses fail not because they offer bad service or bad product. They fail because failed to advertise themselves.

Your initial investment of $8000 is not a small money but also not a big money. All of your $8000 could be spent within 3 months only for advertising and you may earn nothing.

If you have $8000 to spare try your business! It's a good experience! But if you have to go into a debt, don't do it or do your homework and make a bullet proof business plan! =)
