Thank you all for your encouragement. The vet clinic I go to has a number of vets, so you don't necessarily get the same one each time. The only examine he has ever done has been just to look at her (twice). There have been no tests or anything. For some reason he has it in his head that if they are small and weight gain is minimal there must be something wrong with them (He has told me this twice now). He is a very young vet and the only thing I can figure out is that is what he has learned in vet school. He really doesn't have a lot of experience behind him.

When I tell family members my YT ladies recommended this or that, they say "they're not vets. The vet knows what's best." I believe in this case his inexperience is showing and my YT ladies have first hand experience with actually raising these little ones and he does not!

Now this doesn't mean I'm never going to take her to the vet again (I've since found out I can ask for the vet I want) It just means I will weigh all options and have an open mind as to what's best for her.

I will do everything I can to make sure this little girl does well.
