Thanks for your prayers. Well, it turned out to be a good-news/bad-news situation. BAD NEWS: His murmur is a grade 6 and is from PDA (hole between the atrium and ventricles). GOOD NEWS: it can be treated with surgery. The Cardiologist recommended a local surgeon and we plan on getting this done within the next week or 2. I have to work around my husbands colonoscopy and the fact we were to pick up our new female puppy on April 28th. I'm going to talk to the breeder and see if she will keep the girl an extra week so we can get through this first stage. This is all new to me so I will starting a separate thread asking for any info/experience, etc regarding PDA's. Thanks again. |
