a chorkie is probably too small to have with a 2 yr old. try to get a dog from a rescue site that is around 6 lbs, and one year old. be careful to make the right choice so everyone is happy and safe. and get a rug doctor especially
if you get a puppy. i also have a doggy door which goes out to a fenced in area. my dogs let themselves out.. and it does take about a year.. but, you could prohbably do potty training faster if you watch him constantly. very small dogs can get hurt too easily...
