 Is this normal???
Maddi went to the vet and got fixed on Tuesday. She is 8 months old and we've had for about a month. Rocco is not fixed and cant be - his testicles never dropped and when we took him when he was 6months old to get fixed, the vet said he couldnt locate them to perform the surgery. anyway.... ever since I brought Maddi home from the surgery he is inseperable from her. She came home Tuesday night and he hovered over her constantly, following her EVERYWHERE, sniffing... always sniffing. He didnt do this before - he loves her and accepted her immediatley but didnt do this. I took her to work with me yesterday so she wouldn't be alone and my husband called before he left for work and said that Rocco was going bonkers and it started when I walked out the door with maddie in her basket, crying, pacing. kids called (they work evenings) and said that he cried ALL DAY LONG and paced back and forth and tried to force his way out the door all day. I got home last night and again, he was inseparable from her when she slept, he slept beside her, when she got up he followed her and kept trying to get nosy around her surgery - it's like he's in heat! Is this normal? Today my kids got up when we left for work so they will be there all day until I get home but good grief, how long is this gonna last? |
