Yesterday I posted and asked for suggestions on ways to help my little girl to gain weight. Thank you all. I have used those suggestions. I also decided to take her to the vet for a checkup. My vet told me that when they are this little it usually means that something is wrong with them inside and that the outcome is going to be death. He felt the only reason she is still alive is because of my wanting her to survive and the care I've given her. He wanted me to be prepared emotionally for what is inevitable and not to try extraordinary means to keep her alive. Of course this is very hard to take. Have any of you had such a little one that did well and lived a reasonably long life?
