Hi everyone. My little 6 month old Pixel went in to be spayed on Tuesday. I dropped her off at 8am (heartbreaking!) and they did blood work on her beforehand; everything came back just fine. She did well through the surgery and I was able to pick her up at 4:30 that afternoon.
She was groggy, of course, but was content to be cuddled in my arms all Tuesday evening and most of Wednesday (I took the day off work to look after her). Unfortunately, the poor little soul also had an upset tummy from the anaesthetic and pain drugs. She has had a bout of diarrhea which seems to have cleared up now (Thursday).
Poor little girl hates to be messy; I've done the best I could with warm wet soft paper towels and wipes, but it's just not the same as a bath. She has endured the indignity of that with as much patience as I could have expected, poor little thing. I don't want to bath her too soon and cause any problems for her.
Can anybody tell me how long to wait before I can safely give her a bath?
