When I got Piper she had a cough and the breeder told me it was probably canine influenza. When I took her to the vet for her 1st check up the vet put her on some antibiotics in case it was kennel cough. The antibiotics didn't seem to make a difference so I decided to wait it out. It has gotten better but she still makes a wheezing noise when she gets up in the morning and sometimes if she's been playing really hard. Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this experience? I don't want to keep taking her back to the vet and putting her on meds if she doesn't need them. TIA.
