I have a suggestion...maybe the weekend of River Festival so out of town people can also go to the River Fest...hehe....
As for the park I think Harrison Park would be good park...it has a little pond...path to walk or jog...4 times around the park is a mile...hehe.....and for those with kids it has the playground...hehe....also has tennis court.
I see people walking their dogs around there all the time...as long as we keep it nice and tidy...hehe
