I have had a lot of trouble with Sawyer scratching his hair out. He has no fleas, no dry skin, just the itchies. He has scratched a lot of his hair out. We gave him benedryl, but just no relief. My vet gave me a prescription for temaril-p tablets.They are wonderful!! He gets a 1/4 of a tablet the first day, and then after 5 days 1/4 tablet once a day. The itchies are gone
He is not sleepy or off his food; he just isn't itching day and night. I am so relieved. it is so hard to watch them scratch and know it is driving them crazy. We live in Florida, and this time of year, pollen is everywhere. If anyone has this same problem ask your vet about this medication, it worked for us
