OMG, the same thing happens to me! I inherited a beautiful sewing machine but somehow I manage to constantly knot up the thread! I, too, get SO frustrated. I have tried adjusting the tension from the handbook, but that didn't help. I am longing to try and make something, but just end up cross! The annoying thing is that a friend of mine borrowed the machine to make up some new curtains, and she says it works beautifully and she didn't have to adjust anything ! What on earth can I be doing wrong??!! Hope someone can give us both some help!
