My gosh, I have to wonder if someone sprayed something in your yard, like pepper spray? Have you tried taking him out to a side or back yard if you have one? If he is OK there, then try the front yard again, only in different areas and mark with some white spray paint where he was when the symptoms started. Maybe if you can nail down one spot, you can give it a good soaking and wash away whatever is there. Just a thought.
