Right off the bat, I will admit to being an AKC snob. They're the original registry and the only one that's non-profit. They host canine sporting events, promote health & genetics research and inspect breeders including taking DNA to check puppies are actually who the breeder sez they are.
Any other American registry simply uses AKC records and keeps them in a database and prints the papers. You and I could do the same thing if we had a computer program. Since the AKC actually inspects kennels for conditions, most puppy mills who still offer papers use non-AKC registries. This little pup could certainly be from a puppy mill.
So, her registry could be better, but she's still all Yorkie and of course deserves a loving home. Maybe you could list her here on the website under Yorkies Wanted/For Sale and help find her a home if you're seriously worried about a divorce.
