So when you're in the midst of a few puppies to pick from - how do you pick your special one? What do you look for? Anything specific?
I know - clear eyes and active...unless they're all sleeping
but what else? For this kind of $$ I want to make absolutely sure it's the right one. Ideally I'd like to find a breeder fairly close to me and visit the pups a few times before taking one home.
