I make them too and my boys where then everyday because they are intact males and want to hike on everything! I use poise pads in mine as well and that way i just change the pads and replace them. Only needed to wash them every few days.
I use a plastic inner lining and a soft diaper flannel outer lining. Here are a few pics. The bands are $7.99 each for yt members. I can also make matching shirts to go with the bands as seen in the last picture. The shirts are $10.99 - $12.99 each
