I just finished watching Idol and I too had goosebumps!! David Cook just AMAZES me with his incredible talent....I mean, for a rocker to turn a Mariah Carey song into a new hit of 2008?!?!? Im in awe of his talent. IMO~~David is the most talented Idol contestant...EVER!! With his skill, singing and foresight to change and perform these songs the way he does.....I cannot compliment him enough...Tonight was most definitely the boys' night.
Although..I have been so bothered by Syesha picking these big singers and then letting herself be compared and shot down for her performances. She takes her beautiful voice out of the spotlight....but tonight I was so impressed with her. She took a less popular Mariah song and made it her own and SHE stood out!! She wasnt my favorite of the night by any means, but I admired her finally being smart.
