I got Maggie spayed for $50 too! Around here we have this place called "Angels for Animals". You can adopt dogs and they are only $90... all of them. They are spayed/neutered and have all their shots. This is where I got my first dog. Well, they have a spay/neuter program for other dogs and the cost is minimal. I think it's great that some of our local vets volunteer for this. Best thing is: The one i went to is one of the best vets around here!
