I would check with a few breeders and vets to see how much heartworm is in your area. I never had any of mine on heartworm in MD for 35 yrs..never had a case of heart worms..but here in Florida, all of mine are on meds...
I found a vet who charges $33 per year for Heart Guard..so check around for pricing. |
