Personally I kind of like the cotton coat. Bentley is almost 3 now with a cotton coat so i keep him cut short and he looks like a bear!
Louie is 4 mos, with silky head and cotton body, just like your boy. I'm not sure how he's goin to turn out (mom=silky & dad=cotton) The products may improve the texture of the hair, but it won't fully change the hair structure from cotton to silky. Either way, he's going to be as cute as a button.
