lauryn's blood pressure was dropping when she stood up. they took it when she was laying, sitting and standing up. this made her feel dizzy. they called in something but i forget what he called it, but he did ask if she drank sports drinks alot. i said 24/7 that is all she drinks. he said does she work out and i said a little but not much. well according to him gateraide helps build up your electrolights and if you are not sweating them then your body builds up tooo much and starts using your sodium in the body. (weird) and can actually dehyrate you if taken too much. he said for her to drink water and eat something salty to build up her sodium intake in the body like pretzels. i thought he had totally lost his mind, but on the way home we got a 32 oz thing of water and a bag of pretzels and believe it or not several hours later, she is not near as dizzy.

with lexi on friday it will be 3 weeks. the rash gets worse something. we have ruled out every childhood rash/virus, etc. He said its an allergic reaction, then we went thru everything that she had eaten, etc. i havent changed ANYTHING in the house, no diff soap, detergent, lotions, shampoo, sprays, nothing. he ask if we had animals. i told him about maddie and that she was 2 years old and lexi has never had this problem. he said at her age kids bodies start to change and they can be allergic to certain things that they never were before and visa versa. so after two weeks of trying certain meds. he were sent yesterday to an allergy specialist. he didnt want to do the needle/scrape test of all the stuff, but tried the top 3 first....dog, cat, and mold. she welted/rash up to dog, and cat (cat didnt surprise me cause me and lauryn do the same thing) the welt/rash looked almost like what was all over her body. Sooooo we are doing a test trial. Maddie is going to my sisters' mother in law who is home all day and is wonderful with animals and loves maddie very much for 2 weeks, starting tomorrow. then we are to shampoo carpets, furn, etc to try to rid of dog salvia/allergies. then see if it goes away. if it does when we will reintroduce maddie back into the house. if it occurs again then its maddie/salvia/hair or whatever. if it doesnt go away or doesnt come back then we will search on to other things. just ruling things out one by one. we've been doing this now for almost 3 weeks. we had to write down everything she ate, products used, etc. its been crazy on top of me getting ready for surgery, the expense of the whole sticker thing, now doctor expense from this rash/ lauryn sick,/ having the house new carpet cleaned when its only 7 months old.

i can't even bare to think of what it will be if she is allergic to her. they did say she could do shots 2-3 times a week but dont recommend it with her being so young. the doctor said he wouldnt put no child for that when you can just remove the source ( i bet she's never owned a yorkie) Maddie just came back into our lives, i can't imagine losing her again. omg....i can't even go there right now.

oh and having the living room carpet redone. she has had about 8 accidents that i personally have cleaned up with natures miracle, but she must have been haveing more than i knew. remind you no physical stains on top of the carpet. but omg when we pulled it up i about died.

so yes...i need prayers, i need guidance, i'm about to be physcially and emotionally stressed out!

I am so sorry Denise for all you are going through right now!! I will keep you and my family in my prayers!!

So you are having surgery on your sinuses?
I had that done twice. The first week is the worst mainly because of the packing, once it is removed you start to feel better.
You will be so glad you had the surgery done, it makes such a huge difference, I am so glad I did, it was totally worth it.

As for allergy shots it isn't as bad as it seems, at least not where I got mine. The needle was very tiny, you didn't even feel it. I have seen several young children go there on a regular basis and do great with getting the shot.
I was allergic to dogs and cats. I couldn't even be in the same room as a cat but I have cats as well as dogs.
I was on the allergy shots plus medicine for about 4 years and it has improved my allergies a ton. I no longer have to get the shots or take the medicine and I can be around dogs and cats without any problems.

I will be saying a prayer that everything goes alright with your and your family.
