I love road trips! A few years ago we 'yard saled' our way to Tennessee...it was a blast! When we take our trips we don't make a schedule at all and no reservations allowed, we like to visit the out of the way places, you know, the back road Mom & Pop places...you meet some interesting people that way. I've also found that the out of the way places hold the best memories...touristy places are o.k. but expensive and there's usually a lot of pressure to do things and get it all in not to mention the big crowds. I like nature stops and that little restaurant you normally wouldn't eat in...and we always visit the zoo in the area. |
