I started taking Kramer out when he was not even 4 mos. and it was cold here too, but i realized he didn't mind it so much, he rather go outside than the pads. I would put a coat on him and when it snowed we shuveled a path and a small area for him to go and he would not have a problem at all, he would go and rush back in which was great, now spring is here and he wants to be outside for ever.
