A new baby! Aren't they fabulous?

You may just have a non-barker! I hope he has one He may begin to use it when he's more settled. My Trixie was a bit scared when I first brought her home...she barks ... or should I say shrieks. Perhaps count your blessings on this one

I used the pee pad and crate. Trixie hit the pad sometimes, and had many mistakes. She is now 5 mos. and is doing so much better (thank goodness). Just be persistant and try to "catch" her and respond with a kind, yet stern "no". Then take her outside (or on the pee pad). When I began using the crate a bit more steady (I really wanted her out playing with us all the time, as I'm sure you do too), and taking her directly outside from her crate, she really made better progress.
