They will take them out when we spay her. She gets to come home tomorrow and she does'nt even have a cast. They want me to realyy make her stay down. I think that will be the hardest part. I have 2 little girls (5 and 3) that just love to play with her. They are very gentle but I know I will worry. Six weeks and she should be well on her way to normal. Thank you very much for all your prayers and thoughts. I have never ever felt so welcome anywhere. I will try to post some pictures soon!

PS so far the bill is about 1,400, but that should be everything
Glad she is doing well!
You are so right, keeping them down is so hard- Banjo would hardley even get out of crate to potty the first 2 wks.- after that - he was up!! They had me give him Benadryl 1/2 tab a couple times a day- but in the end - he just wanted up!
That is about what it cost me- 2 pins-tension plate- 4 sets of Xrays- they started with a splint at first- so that's in there, too for me
He had no cast either!
Well, I hope she heals real fast!
It is so hard when they are hurt- I really think it was harder on me than Banjo- so I really feel for you- and her, too!
