Well I just talked to our vet. And I think he figured out the problem. Bentley primarely eats in the morning. This causes his stomach to digest all the food throughout the day and around midnight his system has not only digested all his food, but built up a good amount of stomach acid. This causes his system to become very upset and get rid of the excess stomach acid. The vet's solution.....Divide Bentley's meals into 3 servings. or at least feed him some food later at night. so the acid breaks down the food rather than builds up in his stomach. Thought I would share this with everyone so that you won't encounter the same problem.
