Hi! I came upon a man chasing after a small dog. I stopped and asked if it was his and he said no. He asked if it was mine and I said no. He said he has seen lots of dogs get hit by cars on the street in our neighborhood.
I decided to help save the dog. I stayed in my car so I could follow when it dashed long distances. There were probably 12 runners, walkers, dog walkers etc. trying to capture this dog. It dashed away and I followed it into a circle. I stopped the car and coaxed the dog over and it just jumped in my car.
I think it was terrified with all the people chasing it. I hollared to all of the other dog lovers that I had the dog. I took it to the shelter and hope that the owner will look for it. I just had to share because my husband thinks I am silly to spend my time chasing after a dog I don't know
