I am paying a little over $38 for a 40 lb bag of Canidae but on top of that it costs me $10 in gas to drive and get it.
Costco, $20 bucks, I think it's the 40lb bag. Should last me a life time I have one of those tupperware containers that I store it in. I was feeding it to both Alphy and Abby (my golden) so buying the big bag didn't bother me. Alphy loved it. Since Abby passed I tried buying something smaller, sold gold wee bits and he hated those, so I went back to what I know he likes. However getting him to eat since her passing has been difficult. I've taken to mixing the hard with Blue Buffalo canned, just a small spoon full but I really don't want to get into that habit, even though they both love love love it. Sometimes I do a dollap of cottage cheese on top and that'll do the trick. Alph has learned though how to eat the good stuff and spit out the dry food.
