The sadness came earlier that morning when I received a call that my very good friend had succumbed to her battle with Breast Cancer (that had spread to her bone, back, pelvis, and stomach) and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She was truly the strongest person I know. She was diagnosed at 40 when she had her first mammogram and it had already spread to her bone at that time. She passed at the young age of 45. I know now that she is no longer in pain and in the care of the Lord Jesus. |
Sonja I'm so sorry to hear about your friend! You know she's in God's capable hands now and not suffering.
