I am glad to hear your boy is okay. What kind of food are you feeding him? I don't think it would hurt to give him a little pumpkin every day. Pumpkin is high fiber and it also works wonders for diarrhea. If you have any leftover pumpkin you can put spoonfuls on foil or wax paper and freeze it, then put it in a zip lock bag, then thaw and use whenever needed. You might want to just add a little steamed vegetables to his diet. Mine love steamed broccoli, peas and carrots, green beans and also boiled sweet potatoes.
