Once it drops a significant amount approx 2 degrees from her norm then I would take it every 2 hours to see if it is staying down. Usually the female will exhibit several fluctuations in temperature as her progesterone levels start to decrease, there can be a couple sharp drops, but the temp should not stay down for a prolonged period of time until she is in labor. For 5 years now only one of our gals did not drop her temperature below 98.5. The temps should drop and stay relatively low for 12-24 hours until labor starts.
If she is acting ok and you can still feel puppy movement then I would not be overly concerned. What day is she today from her first breeding?
