you got a lot of great potty training advice (everyone here is so helpful!) and i would like to add something regarding the nipping
my bentley was quite the nipper / nibbler too and i found something that worked wonders on him...whenever he nipped, i would gently close my hand around his mouth (do not press down hard or squeeze in case his tongue is between his teeth), make him look me in the eye and say "NO BITE" ... it took about a week but he no longer nips at all!
