Wow...this is the first time I have heard of an issue with ProMeris. Has Fort Dodge publically made any statement? I've used ProMeris on both my two yorkies and two cats with no issues whatsoever. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the residue it left on the dog's hair (just like frontline does) and the large amount of liquid (same as frontline as well). I prefer Advantage because of the small amount of liquid and no residue. But we had no adverse effects on any of the animals. I didn't think the dog one smelled any worse than any other flea preventatives, and the cat one actually smelled really good.
