Welcome to YT! Sounds like you are going into finding your puppy with the right attitude. I'm glad that your open to finding the right breeder. You will love being owned by a yorkie and they are addicting so beware LOL
Before I bought my first yorkie I went to a pet store to see one up close and personal. I had no intention on buying from them but wanted to see them before deciding if that was for sure the breed I was getting. It sickened me that the first words out of the employee's mouth, without me even mentioning it were. "We do not get our puppies from puppy mills, they are from breeders". Anyway, I just wanted to share the price they were asking, it was $2200. Craziness! You can get yourself a great puppy for $1600 and even quite a bit less IMO
