Try something simple. Start all over. Start by going out and getting in the car and sitting a few minutes. Take something along he likes to play with. Just sit there a few minutes and then go back in. Try that a few times. Then try going just five minutes down the road, slowly, and then go back home. Do that a few times. Next, try going for fifteen minutes down the road, then go back home. Do that a few times. It may be simple anxiety. Try this and see if it helps.
