I always allow the vet to take care of our Anal Gland issues. I have read too many horror stories of it being done wrong and causing damage. I am sure that there are many very competent Anal Gland Expressers here and I am not mean to cast a shadow of doubt on your expertise..... I just don't do it. Besides that
it gives me a chance to visit with my vet and the office crew there -- I just love 'em.
Warm water and Epsom Salts sounds like a nice soothing temporary remedy.... I resort to them quite frequently.
