You should have separate crates for housetraining. Mine have separate crates that are there but rarely used except when they nap in them. They generally have free roam of the house or we leave them in one room together. But unless they are crated we leave them together. When we have gone out of town we took one huge collapsible crate and they stayed in there together when we went out. They get along fine. They play fight and of course get into over a toy or a stick but they also nap together and play together.
