I had one of my cats at the vet today for shots. While in my room, I heard a couple come in frantic, their cat had been hit by a car. Please, please, please keep your cats indoors so this won't happen, and think twice about letting your dog run off leash in any area that is not 100% protected from traffic. That means avoiding off-leash areas that are not securely fenced in if they are within running distance of traffic. You can do something to prevent being in the situation that these people were in, hearing a vet tech say,

"Do you want us to resuscitate if necessary?"

This kind of stuff really tears me up. I can't help that kitty, but maybe I can prevent the same thing from happening to even one other furbaby.

(I don't know the kitty's status, I left Suki there to be seen when the vet was able).
