YEP. For those who asked "sugar free or fat free"? I would just say
moderation in both - cut some calories - and eat fresh. I will be very honest here and say that I did the more "exciting" and extreme sugar free Atkins type stuff, not even for weight loss really - and I got into some real trouble.
Those types of diets (and anything that recommends extreme food elimination of any kind) - (omg I could go on and on here) can not only mess with you psychologically, in terms of food, but they can actually change your body chemistry to the point that it no longer can respond correctly to hunger and fullness (chemically). Dangerous things to flirt with - been there, done it.
I'd listen to the wise folks like Nikki - and those who are doing WW - bc you can *eat* rather normally and still lose weight.
