That is what i always thought and because of that never took him to a pool or beach. I read somewhere that dogs with short legs don;t do good in water...but i found out not to be true. I spoke to my friend who owns Mojo's brother (from the same litter) he is tiny, about 3-4lbs, and one day jumped into the lake they had in their backyard...she went bananas :P But all he did was swim to the shore like nothing happened...those yorkiess!!!
Ohh, and when i say doggy beach i mean pet friendly beaches, i know a area that is more like a "bay"...it is like a side of a beach but doesn;t really have waves and it is pet friendly, but a friend told me it is always dirty (even dog poo) and fleas...i don;t want to take my Mojo there...i will do my own reseach tho.. I'll let you guys know and will try to get pictures!!
