I recently got a puppy and my two older yorkies were very jealous! My boy attacked the little puppy over a toy and I had to reprimand him. That was so hard as I have never said a mean word or talked to him in anger before. Then he got a time out in the kitchen for a bit.
You will have to supervise the other dog while around your puppy for quite some time.
I can tell you my dogs love the puppy now. They constintly play with her. I just took her to the feed store, came back and my male was kissing her on the mouth and checking her over to make sure she was ok and unharmed while she was out of his site. Very funny.
Trust me, they will become friends, it takes some time.
