The breeding section is a place to learn, improve, grow, laugh, cry, and share experiences. It should not be a place to be judged or attacked.
I don't know how many times I can say this but if you have nothing nice to say to someone don't say it. It's so very simple. If you have advice that will help someone please share it. If you have made mistakes, please share those so people can learn from it. We learn from experiences and if you aren't a breeder, frankly, you don't have any. If you are a breeder please share with everyone. |
I want to reiterate what Simonandhallie has said in her official role as YT Moderator. Everyone who posts in the breeder's section should be required to read the above post and the stated purpose of the Breeders Forum (
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28203 ) this and click on an I AGREE box before entering.
The most damaging part of what is going on in the Breeder's Forum both for YT and for Yorkies in general is a lack of information exchange between breeders. There is a small army of good responsible breeders here at YT who refuse to post in this forum - people who have real life experiences to share, and way too many posting their opinions who have no breeding experience at all. Take a look at the threads started in the Breeder's Forum and look for the trash can indicating deleted posts and look at all of the locked threads.
