[Chinkerbell]

My little Bentley is almost 3 yrs old and the center of my world! I recently decided to get him a little brother, Louie, last week. I introduced them a few times outside our home before bringing him home and things seemed fine. Bentley is more reserved and shy while Louie is VERY playful and friendly (puppy personality). I was hoping Louie could help Bentley be more social. Bentley seems to ignore Louie most of the time when he tries to play and he seems sorta depressed. I try to let him know that I don't love him ANY less. I always give Bentley his treats and toys first to establish his "ranking" so to speak. I brought them up to Tahoe with me this weekend, (I'm typing from the ski lodge on my blackberry), and last night Bentley attacked Louie while sitting on the couch!! It was out of nowhere!! Louie wasn't injured but was screaming and very shaken up. Bentley knew he did something wrong and hid under the bed after that. Things have calmed down since then but I'm freaked that it will happend again!!! Bentley is over 7lbs and Louie is only 2lbs and can be easily injured. We have them now in seperate rooms when we can't be there to supervise.

Does anyone have advice or experience with this? I love them both so much and it kills me that they don't get along! Sorry for the long story but I'm so worried!
