Short story here a friend of mine raises collies, she had 10 pups at one week of age she started loosing them one at a time. She Had one of the dead pups sent off to see what it died from they could not find anything. It sounded to me like it was bacteria in the stomach with her symptoms she gave me.(not nursing well then vomiting after eating crying, loose stools)
I gave her some benebac to give to the pups and momma and she did not loose any more. Her vet thought it was bacteria in the stomach also and suggested to her the next day to get some benebac after I gave her some. Dont know for sure if that is what it was but she lost no more pups after that.
Thanks for the info on Benebac. I'll get some today.

I'm also going to make up some whelping pudding and some beef liver remedy this weekend. I am worried that she has so many puppies squeezed in there that they may have problems. Although for her size, you'd think they would be huge!

Ruby's temp is still 99.3, so no dip since our scare a few days ago. Hopefully not today!
